AGRA Baymont Appoints Vice President of OperationsIn his current role as Vice President of Operations, Don will work from company headquarters in Clearwater, Florida. He is responsible for the successful implementation and execution of all projects conducted at AGRA Baymont's Clearwater facility, including all administrative functions related to production. AGRA Baymont line-of-business managers, project managers, and production managers report directly to Don to ensure a unified team approach to project management. AGRA Baymont computer services and software development departments will also work under the leadership of Don. Don holds a Ph.D. of Surveying Engineering and has over twenty-nine years of experience in various geographic engineering applications. Over sixteen of those years have been directly involved in executive level management for GIS projects. His major strengths include strategic planning, quality management, technological upgrading, and corporate organization and team building. "We are fortunate to have Don in this role," said Bob Brown, President & CEO of AGRA Baymont. "Don has demonstrated his value in the management of many of AGRA Baymont's advancements and projects." In addition to consolidating traditional business under Don Thomson, a new area pointing to the future of AGRA Baymont is the Business Solutions group, lead by Martin Izzi, Vice President of Business Solutions. "Martin has extensive knowledge of engineering, project management, and systems and has developed many strong programs in AGRA Baymont as General Manager," said Brown.
