Geography Network at GIS Conference 2000
Rotterdam, 24 juli 2000 -- Geography Network is the theme of the GIS Conference 2000 which is organised by ESRI Netherlands. It will take place of 21 and 22 September in Rotterdam. The GIS Conference 2000 is the yearly happening in the field of geographic information systems. Clients, partners, data suppliers and all other people interested in GIS are welcome on these two users’ days.

Geography Network, a worldwide initiative of ESRI Inc., is a collaborative and multi- participant system for publishing, sharing, and using digital geographic information on the Internet.

The program of these two days will exist of plenary sessions, parallel session and a demo market. During the plenary sessions keynote speakers as Alain de Taeye, President en CEO of Tele Atlas en Prof. Mr. J. de Jong of TU Delft presentations. The parallel sessions will exist of technical and organisation/pratice sessions. On the demo market both ESRI Netherlands and a large number of users will demonstrate their applications based on ESRI technology.
