Fuzion Wireless Acquires Cyber-Tech International, S.A.; Wireless Broadband Solutions Provider Joins Forces with Consulting Company Specializing in Geographic Information Systems
BOCA RATON, Fla., July 26, 2000--Fuzion Wireless Communications, Inc., a provider of fixed wireless broadband solutions, today announced it has acquired Cyber-Tech International, S.A., through a cash and equity deal. Cyber-Tech is a Panamanian consulting corporation that provides spatial data solutions for both the business and government sectors.

Fuzion intends to leverage Cyber-Tech's expertise in geographic information systems (GIS) to deploy its wireless broadband network in Latin America. Cyber-Tech will provide strategic data analysis to determine optimal locations for Fuzion hub sites. Fuzion will use this GIS technology to research the topography and demographics of an area to determine the most advantageous locations for providing services to the greatest number of business customers.

"With this acquisition, Fuzion reinforces its commitment to providing service where customer demand is heaviest," said David L. Frank, president and chief operating officer of Fuzion. "Cyber-Tech has the knowledge and information systems to assist us in strategically selecting the best locations from which to deploy the most desirable networks."

William Harp, General Manager of Cyber-Tech, commented, "GIS applications are growing as important tools for corporate and government information systems. GIS coupled with high-resolution imagery provides powerful solutions to regional problems of resource management, land tenure, infrastructure development and socio-economic analysis in Latin America. With Fuzion's assistance, Cyber-Tech will respond to help meet these challenges."
